Where does the time go?
Whilst I’m sure you’re trying to tie up loose ends so that you can just be on holiday already….now is actually the perfect time of year to be thinking about closing out 2017 strong so you can start 2018 with a bang.
It honestly doesn’t have to be a lot of work…and you’ll want to do this now before you take any time off over Christmas.

This week’s episode is all about how you can close out 2017 strong so that you can have a really rocking 2018.
Now is the perfect time of year to be thinking about next year because there’s enough time in the diary to get all your Christmas shopping done, do your socialising and have time for yourself.
I would really love to talk about how you can do this.
I use the word finishing strong but I want you to you.
Here are 3 steps to get you started:
Step #1: How do you want to finish out the year?
Do you want to finish out the year…
….with a bang?
….relaxing flat on the couch?
What’s your definition of a successful year-end?
It’s important to come up with your own definition of success.
Step #2: What are 3 things that you want to do over the holiday period to finish out the year the way you want?
It’s important to fill yourself back up with what it is that YOU need to do to finish the year as you like.
It’s important to do now because if you don’t identify this now then your diary is going to get full with invites, social invites, places to go, people to see…and it can be really overwhelming.
Now is a beautiful time to earmark your diary and save time out just for you.
You’re important, you need a time out for yourself.
Think about the 3 things you want to do, maybe it’s: going to bed early one night and reading a book.
Maybe it’s to hang out with your friend and show up to that social engagement you have planned really grateful and really present because you actually realise that you do want to be there – and that it’s not just some other thing to get through.
Sometimes we can go into certain situations when we’re tired with this feeling of “I have to go” but if you rewire it and look at it as something you want, you can change your energy and therefore change your experience.
Step #3: Think about what you want to let go of and leave behind in 2017.
So often when we talk about new years’ resolutions and goal planning for the year ahead, we can start to think about all the things we want to do, achieve.
If you imagine a cup or container…we keep wanting to fill it with stuff. The trouble is, we’ve got lots of stuff still in here from 2017 that needs to be cleared out.
Particularly limiting beliefs and thought patterns that we continue on a repetitive basis. Year on year on year.
How many times have you said you would do X, Y, Z on your new years’ resolutions list and then months later you’ve fizzled out. The year after you’ve got the same thing on your list again.
I invite you to think about what you want to let go of this year.
Yes, maybe it’s physical…decluttering of stuff….your wardrobe, or a messy drawer or a messy room.
Or perhaps you want to look at some of the limiting beliefs which are holding you back. Beliefs like…
….You have to work hard to make yourself a success
…..You have to struggle
….What you want isn’t possible for you because you’re not smart enough, pretty enough or good enough.
Some of these thought patterns aren’t serving you.
I’m saying this now at this time of the year.
If you’re watching this video when it’s not the New Year, just know that you can pick an arbitrary time in the calendar. This doesn’t have to be about setting goals for January 1st, 2018. You can reset your life at any time.
The end of the year is simply a beautiful opportunity to pause and do this reflect work.
For me personally, I know that I’m going to let go of this need to analyse and look all the various options before taking action. To learn to trust my heart and my intuition more than my head all the time. That’s new for me. I’m definitely better than I used to be but I’m still on that journey and I really want to improve on that.
I’m doing this process with you guys, I’m working on a few things myself.
So those are your 3 steps for this time of the year if you want to close out strong and start 2018 with a bang.
Step #1: Get clear on how you want to finish out the year.
Step #2: Schedule 3 things that you want to do over the holiday period to finish out the year the way you want.
Step #3: Make a list of the things that you want to let go of and leave behind in 2017. Emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically.
