I celebrated my birthday over the weekend and am still filled to the brim with love and gratitude for everything that I have in my life.
From family, friendships, health, business, opportunities, my lessons learned. I’m grateful for it all. Including you.
I believe that gratitude is the starting point for living a happy and fulfilled life and career.
I’ve been practicing gratitude for a while now and it’s amazing how this simple practice can make a profound change on how you view the world.
Even when things aren’t going right and the world seems to be conspiring against you, there’s always something to be grateful for.
Even the little things like a cosy warm bed, a smooth journey on the way into work, a smile from a stranger.
When you focus your attention on the positive, you’ll attract more of it into your life.
For this week:
Before you go to bed, recall 3 things that you’re grateful for that particular day.
- I’m grateful I had the courage to speak up at my meeting
- I’m grateful that I had a delicious lunch with my colleague
- I’m grateful that I have [insert family members and friends] in my life who love and appreciate me
Give it a try.
In the busy-ness of achieving and doing, this little trick is a great way to enjoy the journey along the way.
It’s quick, easy and effective.
Give it a try and leave a comment letting me know how you go.
Wishing you a great week,
P.S. Leave a comment and let me know how this exercise works for you. I read every response.
