It’s easy to get single focused on your career/business and forget to actually enjoy life along the way.
Our recent family trip to Australia made me stop and appreciate everything in my life.
It was different to other holidays simply because we didn’t have Internet access for the first 2 weeks of our trip – a huge blessing despite my initial freak out!
By disconnecting from the Internet, social media and a regular routine, my family and I connected on a much deeper level. We enjoyed spontaneous walks, afternoon swims, naps and the occasional babycinno break. Pure bliss!Side note: we also discovered cruffins (a cross between a croissant and a muffin….heaven!)
Taking time away made me deeply appreciate how “on” we can be in our day-to-day life. And how that can take away the joy and fun in our interactions.
We live in a society where we’re always striving to achieve, do and get. Whilst that’s all great – it’s importantto make sure that all this striving and doing is for something meaningful and fulfilling.
It’s about going for our goals from the right space and letting go of the exact way in which they’re supposed to happen.
Which is why my intention or guiding word for 2016 is SURRENDER.In case you missed my video on how to figure out your intention, you can check it out HERE.
Surrender to what is. Let go of what is. Have faith in what will be :: Sonia Ricotti ::
If you’re at a crossroads looking to make a decision on your career but not sure what to do then I invite you to stop thinking and surrender your question to be answered by your intuition.
Ask The Question “What should I do next”
What does your gut tell you?
I’d love to know:
- What’s your intention for 2016?
- What are you going to surrender this year?
Hit reply and let me know. I read every response.
Have a beautiful week.
