It’s Birthday season in Hong Kong right now.
We celebrated my godson’s 5th birthday on Saturday….
My little Ella is turning 2 on the 25th of October…..
And my dad is turning 60 in a couple of weeks (yep he’s still a spring chicken!)
I love birthdays!
It’s a great way to celebrate life and get together with loved ones and enjoy it all with a sweet piece of cake.
Birthdays are also a time to reflect on:
- Who you are
- How you’re showing up
- What you’re doing
- What you’re striving to achieve
Even though it’s not my birthday, I can’t help but reflect on these questions and assess how I’m showing up as a mum to Ella and Jack.
I really believe that the path to happiness and living a meaningful and fulfilled life and career is to start with being who you really are and showing up as that amazing person that you really are in all areas of your life (as a mother, wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister, friend, colleague etc).
If you’re being the person that you really are: Kind. Compassionate. Loving. Confident. Happy. Genuine. Real….
Then you’ll do and achieve the things that really matter to you and attract the right crowd of people around you who believe in you.
Your mantra for this week is to:
Be. Do. Achieve.
Take a minute to ask yourself:
- Am I really being myself?
- How can I start acting and being more of me right now?
I’d love for you to leave a comment and celebrate your positive qualities. Who are you really? What do you love about your personality? Share below.
Have a great week!
